Center for the Study of Intelligence
The Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) Center for the Study of Intelligence's duties include, but are not limited to, publishing the quarterly classified journal and annual unclassified edition of Studies in Intelligence and key documentary collections from the Cold War; hosting independent research and publishing books and monographs on intelligence topics; producing monographs on CIA history and the history of intelligence; supporting the State Department's Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) series; promoting public understanding of intelligence; and providing conferences, seminars, and a forum for practitioners and scholars.

Google Earth
Google Earth combines mapping and local search to put the answers to the search questions in a geographical context. To do this, Google Earth combines MSN Search with the latest in mapping to create a new Web application built on Microsoft technology. Google Earth provides labeled aerial photos, multiple searches, and locations on the map.


International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA)
The International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA) aims to enhance the general understanding of the role of intelligence analysis, encourage the recognition of intelligence analysis as a professional endeavor, develop international qualification and competence standards, reinforce professional concepts, devise training standards and curricula, furnish advisory and related services on intelligence analysis matters, conduct analytic-related research studies, and provide the ability to disseminate information regarding analytical techniques and methods. Members include, but are not limited to, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Haiti, Israel, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Africa, the United States, and Wales.

The National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD)
The National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD) preserves and distributes computerized crime and justice data from state and federal agencies and investigator-initiated research projects to users for secondary statistical analysis. The NACJD is supported by the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) in the U.S. Department of Justice. The central mission of NACJD is to facilitate and to encourage research in the field of criminal justice through the preservation and sharing of computerized data resources and through the provision of specialized training in quantitative analysis of crime and justice data. NACJD assists in identification of appropriate criminal justice data collections on specific topics, custom subsetting of selected data files through the online data analysis system, and the retrieval and use of files obtained from the archive.


The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) provides information about missing and exploited children; operates a CyberTipline to report Internet-related child sexual exploitation; provides technical assistance to individuals and law enforcement agencies in the prevention, investigation, prosecution, and treatment of cases; assists the U.S. Department of State in certain cases of international child abduction; distributes photographs and descriptions of missing children; coordinates child-protection efforts with the private sector; networks with nonprofit service providers and state clearinghouses about missing-persons cases; provides information about effective state legislation to help in the protection of children; and offers training programs to law enforcement and social service professionals.


The Analyst’s Style Manual
The Analyst’s Style Manual, written by the Mercyhurst College Institute for Intelligence Studies, is a product intended to assist student analysts with the many perplexing and complex rules they should follow in producing written intelligence products. The manual includes rules and explanations for proper capitalization, punctuation, abbreviations, italics, rules for effective intelligence writing, and a presentation style sheet.


Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC)
The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) is a data gathering, data research, and data distribution organization associated with Syracuse University. TRAC provides information from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The purpose of TRAC is to provide the public, Congress, news organizations, public interest groups, businesses, scholars, and lawyers with comprehensive information about federal staffing and spending and the enforcement activities of the federal government.


U.S. Census Bureau
The U.S. Census Bureau Web site provides an interactive database engine with survey information, census tract street locator, county business and zip business patterns, and international trade data. This Web site also provides QuickFacts containing frequently requested U.S. Census Bureau information at the county, state, and national levels. Mapping systems and search engines for name, place, and zip code systems, as well as downloadable software with census and survey information, can be found on the census Web site.
