The Analyst’s Style Manual
The Analyst’s Style Manual, written by the Mercyhurst College Institute for Intelligence Studies, is a product intended to assist student analysts with the many perplexing and complex rules they should follow in producing written intelligence products. The manual includes rules and explanations for proper capitalization, punctuation, abbreviations, italics, rules for effective intelligence writing, and a presentation style sheet.
Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC)
The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) is a data gathering, data research, and data distribution organization associated with Syracuse University. TRAC provides information from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The purpose of TRAC is to provide the public, Congress, news organizations, public interest groups, businesses, scholars, and lawyers with comprehensive information about federal staffing and spending and the enforcement activities of the federal government.

This Web site also provides QuickFacts containing frequently requested U.S. Census Bureau information at the county, state, and national levels.
